Deputy Solicitor
Tom trained and practised in the City specialising in immigration law before joining a public law litigation team at Government Legal Department. Most recently, Tom led a large operational legal team in the Home Office handling legal challenges to immigration decisions and was responsible for supporting legal career pathways for staff based across the country.
Outside of work, Tom sits on the Law Society LGBT+ Lawyers Division committee and the Law Society Education and Training committee. He is appointed as an Independent Person by the City of London Corporation and an Independent Panel Member by the Greater London Authority. Tom has been recognised as an LGBT+ leader in the OUTstanding LGBT+ role model lists.
